高雄醫學大學附設中和醫院自民國九十二年八月起，成立心臟血管中心。聯合心臟內科及外科的一流精英，共同合作，希望在第一時間能為心血管疾病的患者提供最完善的服務及最即時的救助。對於急性冠狀動脈疾病的患者，更是秉著一顆跟時間賽跑的心，隨時待命為病患提供內科的緊急冠狀動脈氣球擴張術及支架植入與外科的冠狀動脈繞道手術之服務，並24小時監測病患病情之變化，給予最即時的處置，以期待病患能有最高的存活率。
對於一般心血管疾病患者，藉由兩科密切的照會及共同照顧下，內科的患者能在必要時隨即得到外科的適切的解釋及手術治療；外科的患者亦能在內科的幫忙下，在手術治療前或手術後得到最豐富的資訊及照料，兩科相輔相成，以期對心臟科患者有最大的助益！
病房的設置：心臟血管內科暨外科一般病房位在10A及10ES
心臟血管內科暨外科加護病房位在11樓
門診：位於啟川大樓一樓門診區。 |

The cardiovascular center was established since August 2003. We collaborate the best members of both physicians and surgeons of cardiology, who work together and can provide the best service and the immediate help for patients having cardiovascular diseases.
For patients with acute coronary syndrome, our cardiologist can perform primary PTCA any time when indicated and our cardiac surgeons can support any back up procedures. We are sure that every patient with acute coronary syndrome will receive the best and immediate service through all these efforts.
For patients with general cardiovascular diseases, we believe that close cooperation of doctors of medicine and surgeon in our cardiovascular center can provide the best service for every patient when they visit our cardiology clinic or admitted to our cardiovascular ward.
