KMUH Unveils Five AI Ambassadors Advancing Smart Hospitals and Easing Healthcare Workloads

To address the growing burden on healthcare professionals and the challenge of delayed consultations outside working hours, Kaohsiung Medical University and its healthcare system (KMUH) have integrated cutting-edge generative AI into their medical information systems. This digital transformation brings advanced technology into healthcare settings, realizing the vision of a future-ready hospital. KMUH proudly introduces its latest breakthrough: the KMU Genie platform, featuring five AI ambassadors¡XClinical Bear (medical assistance), Nurse Bonnie (nursing care), MedTech Fox (medical technology applications), Admin Pine (administrative management), and Mentor Owen (educational innovation).
To further advance AI-driven smart healthcare, KMUH has adopted the NVIDIA H200 GPU AI server to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. Plans are underway to expand AI computing resources with the advanced NVIDIA B200 GPU server, integrating large language models (LLM) and visual language models (VLM). This will create a highly efficient and flexible smart healthcare platform, driving diverse applications, reducing staff workload, and delivering higher-quality patient care.
