Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital (KMUH) has secured an impressive 8th place among 35 evaluated hospitals in Taiwan on the Newsweek and Statista “World’s Best Hospitals 2025” list. Since entering the ranking in 2023 at 16th place, KMUH has steadily climbed, surpassing last year’s position to achieve this new milestone, reflecting its relentless pursuit of excellence.

The ranking is based on a comprehensive evaluation, including life expectancy, living standards, population size, and number of hospitals. It incorporates professional surveys from physicians, hospital administrators, and healthcare professionals, alongside patient experience data, hospital quality metrics, accreditation results, and patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs). KMUH is honored to be recognized among the world’s best hospitals in 2025. Moving forward, we will continue to drive medical innovation, smart healthcare, and international collaboration, striving to enhance medical quality and patient safety while creating a warmer, higher-quality healthcare environment.
