National Health Insurance ¡§Integrated Healthcare Program¡¨ Officially Launched KMUH Partners with 8 Institutions to Safeguard Indigenous Health
 2025.06.11

For nearly 30 years, Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital (KMUH) has been dedicated to improving healthcare in the remote mountainous and island regions of Kaohsiung City¡¦s Taoyuan, Namasia, and Maolin Districts through the Integrated Delivery System (IDS) program. Starting in 2025, the National Health Insurance Administration has upgraded the IDS program into the ¡§Kaohsiung City Integrated Healthcare Program.¡¨ KMUH is collaborating with eight institutions, including three indigenous district health centers, medical centers (KMUH and Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital), a regional hospital (Cishan Hospital), and clinics (Da Jia Clinic and Nibun Dental Clinic), to deliver higher-quality healthcare and protect the health of indigenous communities.

On March 9, a launch ceremony was held at the Maolin Multifunctional Activity Center, bringing together representatives from the National Health Insurance Administration¡¦s Kaohsiung-Pingtung Branch, Kaohsiung City Health Bureau, KMUH, and partner institutions. The event also featured a health screening carnival, providing vital health checks for local residents and fostering a healthier, happier community.
