Congratulations to Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital for winning two Silver Awards at the 2024 4th TSAA Taiwan Sustainable Action Awards.
The Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Screening Team of Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital has reached out to remote townships to care for the underprivileged and advance from screening to eradicating liver diseases. Our hospital, upholding medical ethics and fulfilling its social responsibility, is also actively engaged in international medical and public health assistance. In collaboration with the Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund (Taiwan ICDF) and the Republic of Somaliland, we are promoting public health and medical cooperation projects through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, following the Paris Declaration and the Accra Agenda for Action.
To highlight Taiwan’s and the Asia-Pacific region’s strong commitment to sustainable development, the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy (TAISE) held the "2024 Asia-Pacific and Taiwan Sustainable Action Awards." This event celebrates outstanding efforts in achieving the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our hospital’s Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Medicine Department and International Medical Service Center received the Silver Award for their excellent contributions!
