KMUH has been recognized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Health Promotion Administration with the following awards in 2024 (Year 113 on the Taiwanese calendar):
Honorable Mention in the Health Promotion Quality Improvement Selection (Medical Center Category)
Model Institution Award for Kidney Health Promotion
KMUH as a university-affiliated medical center, we firmly believe that health is the foundation of sustainable development. Guided by our core values of "Care, Innovation, and Excellence," we are committed to enhancing the health of our employees, patients, and community.
For years, we have actively promoted health initiatives, encouraging employee participation, improving community health literacy, assessing chronic disease risk factors, and implementing effective interventions. These efforts have earned continuous recognition, placing us among the top three national medical centers in the Health Promotion Quality Improvement Selection for three consecutive years.
Additionally, our Kidney Health Care Program has achieved a remarkable milestone: winning the Kidney Care Quality Improvement Model Institution Award for seven consecutive years (2018–2024). This accomplishment sets a record among all medical centers in the country!
