KMUH Wins 9th International Medical Model Award for Promoting Taiwan¡¦s Healthcare Soft Power
Nearly 20 Years of Dedication from Oceania to the Horn of Africa

¡@¡@Kaohsiung Medical University Chung-Ho Memorial Hospital (KMUH) has been committed to international medical aid since 2005, contributing to healthcare diplomacy and collaborating with hospitals worldwide. KMUH has made significant efforts to assist developing countries, leaving its footprint in Africa, Oceania, Central and South America, and Southeast Asia. These achievements were recognized with the 9th International Medical Model Award, presented by the International Medical Health Promotion Association, and received by KMUH Vice Superintendent Tsung-Hsien Lin.As a university-affiliated hospital and medical center, KMUH upholds medical ethics and fulfills its social responsibility by engaging in long-term international healthcare and public health collaborations. KMUH begins with on-site investigations to understand local needs and then works with relevant authorities to prioritize efforts. Guided by United Nations goals such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), KMUH aims to improve healthcare standards in partner countries.
