The Division of Rheumatology, Immunology and Allergology mainly provide medical services to patients having rheumatic immunologic or allergic disease. Laboratory examinations include synovial fluid analysis, detection of auto antibodies, measurement of serum immune complex and HLA typing. Equipment in our division includes laminar flow, CO2 incubator, and a centrifuge with freezer, polarized microscopy and inverted microscopy etc. For patients with severe disease, we adopt the newest treatments such as pulse steroid therapy, pulse cyclophosphamide therapy, plasmaphoresis and biological agents such as anti-TNF, antiCD20 treatment.
