Division of Infectious Diseases

The division of Infectious Diseases is founded in 1989. We offer inpatient and outpatient services for patients of infectious diseases and provide consultation service to all other clinical departments. In addition, our division participates in the hospital infection control policy making and is in charge of the monitoring of nosocomial infections and the undergoing of infection control measures. Our division is assigned as a care center for HIV patients by government that we provide anonymous screening of Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), further consultation and treatment. Our recent research interests include HIV, Lyme disease, dengue fever, Chlamydia, Rickettsia , tuberculosis, antimicrobial drug resistance, and inflammatory gene regulation and signal transduction.
