Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine(T.C.M)

 

The Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine (T.C.M) established since September 23, 2003. It consists of four divisions as below:

1. Division of Chinese Internal Medicine
2. Division of Gynecology
3. Division of Traumatology
4. Division of Acupuncture
 

1、Division of Chinese Internal Medicine

The treatment in clinic is based on the theories of the TCM and current western concept of medicine. In our department, the doctors got well-training of Chinese and western medicine, and continue learning the modern medical science. We own the reliability of the patients on our medical service.

Indications:

− Cardiovascular disease
− Liver disease
− Respiratory disease
− Gastrointestinal disease
− Metabolic disease
− Psychosis and nervous system disease
− Reproductive and urinary system disease
− Chronic hepatitis
−  Asthma
−  Allergic disease
− Cancer treatment


2、Division of Gynecology

Traditional Chinese Gynecology (TCG) is an important and inseparable component of Chinese medicine. It is rich in experience for caring and treating women’s diseases for thousands of years. TCG is classified into five categories: menstruation, leukorrhea, pregnancy, parturition and miscellaneous diseases in traditional Chinese medicine. We combine the knowledge of modern medicine in women’s diseases with the theories and experience of TCG to develop a better care for women.

Categories in outpatient service:

− Infertility
− Irregular menstruation
− Dysmenorrhea
− Leukorrhea
− Endometriosis
− Menopause syndrome
− Polycystic ovarian syndrome
− Chronic pelvic pain
− Chronic pelvic relaxation syndrome
− Pregnancy and puerperium care
− Combined care of gynecologic cancer


3、Division of Traumatology

In our department, we treat connective tissue and bone diseases by tendon-regulating manipulation , massage and bone-setting manipulation . Through balancing yin and yang, reinforcing insufficiency and reduce excessiveness, we recuperate the vitality and relieve pain.

Indications:

– Injury of muscle and tendon
– Dislocation, fracture
– Sports injury
– Sprain, contusion
– Miscellaneous disease of traumatology
– Nervous system disease


4. Division of Acupuncture

The meeting of World Health Organization (WHO) in November 1996 in Milan advanced 64 kinds of indications of acupuncture, which are therapeutic definitely in clinic.

We evaluate curative effects in pre-therapy, mid-therapy, and post-therapy, and sometimes take care of patients with other departments. In clinic, we combine the therapies of moxibustion、particular acupuncture、cupping、electro acupuncture、infrared radiation, and far infrared radiation to reach a high quality of service.

− Pain: Head and face, Locomotor system, Gout, Traumatic or postoperative pain
− Neurological disorders
− Respiratory disorders
− Digestive disorders
