Our Department is one of the training organization for the chest specialists and critical care specialists which approved by The Taiwan Society of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and provide the perfect medical service, teaching and research.

1.Chest Medicine Ward

  It has 76 beds and chest echo, which provide the diagnose and treatments.

2. Medical intersive Care Unit(MICU)：

  It has 28 beds for well management of critical patients.

3.Respiratory Care Center (RCC)

  It has 12 beds for care of patients on Mechenical ventilation.

4.Respiratory Therapy Unit

  We have 41 well-trained respiratory therapists and they afford the respiratory therapy service for the patients of the hospital.

5.Bronchoscopic Room

  It is equipped with various types of bronchoscope, including electronic bronchoscope and bronchoscope ultrasound which has the facility of real time image for clinical teaching. We also performed bronchoscope guided percutaneous tracheotomy for long tern ventilator dependent patients.

6.Pulmonary Function Laboratory

  It’s equipped with computerized pulmonary function test instruments, including spirometry, total lung capacity, DLCO test, body box for airway resistance amd bronchoprovocation test.
