Our well-known cornea transplant team had performed the highest volume of transplantations in Taiwan, from penetrating keratoplasty to DSAEK(Descemet Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty) and DALK(Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty), and we continue developing the latest technology, such as small gauge phacoemulsification cataract extraction surgery and variety of intra-ocular lens with specialized function.
The leader of our retinal surgery, Professor Sheu, also the former President of Taiwan retinal society and the current president of Taiwan ocular inflammation society, leads our retina team performing highest standard retinal surgeries. The new small-gauge vitrectomy devices enable sutureless cataract and vitreo-retinal surgeries, reducing postoperative discomfort and facilitating recovery.
