DOEM was established in December 1990, initially focused on occupational medicine then expanded field to environmental medicine since August 2003.
We provide the occupational and environmental health service including:
(1) Clinical services, such as diagnosis of occupational disease, replacement evaluation, care of work-related illness and return to work evaluation, health assessments, walk-through investigation... etc.
(2) Nonclinical activities, such as educational activities, consultation, and health promotion program... etc.
(3)Research activities, such as risk assessment, communication and health evaluation for residents, who are involved in toxic agents contaminated living environment.
We recently undertook cooperation with Department of Rehabilitation Medicine to help musculoskeletal patients proceed skill reconstruction and return to work.
