中心100年應衛生署「遠距健康照護區域服務中心」的設置與推動，成為衛生署全國北、南兩區中，遠距健康照護南區區域服務中心承辦醫院，服務範圍：包括台中市、南投縣市、彰化縣市、雲林縣市、嘉義縣市、台南市、高雄市、屏東縣市、台東縣市、澎湖縣市等，提供民眾二十四小時專業醫護人員的即時諮詢與協助，讓更多的民眾與機構可以接受到「遠距健康照護服務」所帶來的好處與便利。
中心的服務項目包含：服務說明與宣傳、24小時生理監測與主動追蹤、緊急醫療服務、會員健康管理、用藥安全指導、即時諮詢服務、生活資源轉介諮詢 、回診安排、設備異常諮詢服務等等，在業務上提供會員特殊狀況通報與個案健康照護資料，協助轉介新會員，做為各合作醫院會員招募之窗口。
