I. Summer Internship Department Introduction
The hematology-oncology department of Kaohsiung medical university hospital focus on the service and study of hematology and oncology diseases. We also have education programs for medical students and training fellows in these field. We like the medical students to learn from basic knowledge to clinical management of hematology and oncology, including the laboratory explanations, the diagnosis of hematology diseases/oncology disease, and also the management of these disease. From case discussion, we hope the interns in our ward can familiar with hematology and oncology diseases.

II. Summer InternshipLearning Objective and Training Program Outline
1. Orientation of hematology and oncology: from orientation from the ward, the interns should familiar with basic status of hematology and oncology, including blood smear, bone marrow exams and laboratory tests.
2. Acknowledgement of laboratory and images: From bed side teaching and discussion, the interns can learn about the explanation and management of laboratory and image abnormalities for disease management.
3. Bone marrow transplant: The interns can learn the basic and clinical aspects of bone marrow transplant and have visit and transplant units.
4. Comprehensive case management: From team care management, the interns can learn the care of hematology and oncology patients, from basic to clinical.
